Financial Information:
It is our mission to provide our patients with affordable, high-quality treatment. Rather than requiring a large initial down payment, our office offers interest-free, in-office financing to help make orthodontic treatment affordable. At West Cobb Orthodontics, payments are spread over the course of the proposed treatment time through equal monthly payments.
Your first initial visit is completely free. At this consultation appointment we will take a panorex x-rays and you will receive a full orthodontic evaluation. After the consultation and if treatment is needed, records will need to be made. You can complete this step on the same day as your appointment and receive 50% off the records fee. After records are done, an appointment to get your braces will be made and your first monthly payment will be due at the time of that appointment. After you receive your braces, all payments will be due on your personalize due date each month for the duration of your treatment time.
Our office offers a 5% payment-in-full discount for patients who pay off their contract balance with check or cash within one month (30 days) of the start of treatment. Sorry no 5% discount for credit cards. We also offer discounts for families who have more than one person in active treatment at the same time.
For our Invisalign and Invisalign Teen patients, we accept Chase Health Advance. Chase Health Advance is a payment option you may use for any medical expenses, including orthodontic work. Please call our office for more details or visit www.chasehealthadvance.com to learn more about this financing option.
Our office accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and debit cards with the Visa insignia on it, personal checks, money orders and cash. Automatic payments through your bank or credit card are also available for your convenience. Payments can even be made on this web site; please go to (Patient Login) “My Account and Appointments” to make an online payment. All monthly payments are due no later than 15 days after your personalized due date each month.
Insurance
Before your initial consultation appointment, it is important for you to contact your insurance company to find out what your benefits are and how much they will pay. We accept many insurance carriers including Flex Spending plans; see the partial list at the bottom of the page or ask our front desk staff if we accept your insurance. The questions you need to ask your provider are:
- Do I have orthodontic coverage?
- What are the benefits of my orthodontic coverage?
- Is my orthodontist a provider for this insurance? If not, will it cost more to use a non-provider orthodontist?
- Does the insurance company pay automatically?
Insurance is filed the day braces or an appliance is placed. Any insurance money received will be applied toward the total contract balance. The patient’s contract must be paid in full before the removal or braces. Having insurance does not negate responsibility for the total amount of the contract. The responsible party that signs the contract is responsible for the total balance of the contract.
Insurance We Accept
If an insurance plan is not listed, we will be happy to file for the insurance and to consider becoming a provider for the plan. Please make sure to bring in the insurance information with you to your consultation appointment.
